"On 27th of January at 7.25am I had an order for a fruit tree from a customer in Australia. My invoice was sent and paid one hour later. The fruit tree gift, a cherry tree, was delivered to her partners house here in England by noon the same day! It's not always possible to act so quickly but I always make that extra effort as I believe striving to offer the very best service is as important as growing the best trees"

  Tree Delivery Guide...

The price quoted is as charged to jaspertrees.co.uk. No charge is made for packing and materials, this is all included in the tree pricing.

The recent loss of City Link and general boom in internet shopping means all of the carriers and very busy. They dislike odd shaped and awkward parcels and sadly trees fall into this category. I have neqotiated the best prices possible. There are new restrictions in place by many carriers on parcel size.

As a rule, if the parcel is under 1.2 metres (approx 4ft). This would be a pruned 2yr bush or maiden (1yr) intended to make a bush, I can despatch for as little as 10.00 +Vat (12.00 inc vat) and can sometimes despatch up to 5 trees of the same height for this rate. For example 5 bushes on dwarf M.27 rootstock.

For the majority of parcels over 1.2 metres (approx 5ft 3") it's possible to despatch from 12.50 +Vat (15.00 inc vat) and this priced can in some instances accommodate up to 10 trees.  Unfortunately as of June 2015, my courier in line with other couriers will now charge me 50% of the delivery cost for each redelivery attempt after a failed first delivery attempt . I can only accept your order if you can guarantee to accept the first delivery attempt either in person or by leaving clear instructions at delivery address where they may be left at that address or you are prepared to reimburse me any subsequent charge from a failed delivery. It's an annoying complication but the sad fact is the carriers are becoming very busy and odd shaped tree and plant parcels are not their favourite parcels to handle.

I offer individual quotes for larger orders, and happily the charge is often not much higher than these listed prices.

Of course, certain postcodes carry a surcharge, for example the Scottish Highlands (postcode examples are AB, DD, FK, IV, KW, KY, PH, PA,) and the Isle of Wight.

I endeavour to offer the very best option for you that is both economic but also offers the most careful handling.

I often deliver using my own transport, combining deliveries wherever possible to give the best value.

COLLECTION - If you live in, or close to Herefordshire, or just passing through, It's possible to pre-arrange collection from an address with easy parking in Leominster during the delivery season (I do need several days notice and confirmation near to the date please as the trees have to be packed and transported from the nursery) Please let me know on the order form and I will forward directions with your invoice.
